Candice began her dance journey at Latin Dance Australia in 2013. Growing up in South-East Queensland, Candice played tennis for many years and crossed over into dance after finishing uni in Brisbane and moving to Sydney. Since 2015, she has competed as a soloist as a student under Amy Mills, and has titles in several National and International competitions, including; 

1st Place Samba Soloist (Amateur) - World Latin Dance Cup 2015
1st Place Samba Soloist (Amateur) - Australian Latin Dance Championships 2015
2nd Place Samba Soloist (Amateur) - Australian Latin Dance Championships 2016
2nd Place Samba Soloist Freestyle (Adv/Pro) - Brazilfest 2016
3rd Place Open Latin Soloist (Amateur) - World Salsa Solo 2015

Candice is valued in the team for her determination and drive, eagerness to learn, and slightly quirky sense of humour. She'll forego a social life for months at a time to craft the perfect samba costume, and is impervious to hot glue burns. Outside of the dancing world, Candice has found herself immersed in project management entirely by accident, and thrives on organisation, deliverables and data.
